My awesome photographer friend Larissa (who's also just an awesome person in general) asked me to help her with Paul and Amanda's wedding day. This was my first time photographing a wedding, and second shooting was such a great learning experience!
Since Larissa was the main shooter and a lot of my photos were pretty similar to hers, I'm going to try to not be redundant and post the same types of pictures. I highly recommend checking out
her blog post of the wedding (or just her blog in general), she takes fantastic pictures!
Also, while I'm somewhat on the topic of this being my first wedding, I would really appreciate any feedback/critiques/comments that you have!
Anyway, sorry about the rant, I'll try not to talk too much, and I'll let you look at pictures now...
I kind of fell in love with the flowers....
Amanda's friend Jana did a beautiful job with the hair.
The bridesmaids: Kristina, Sara, Mary, and Elaine.
The bridesmaids were fun to watch during the first looks!
If you haven't noticed yet, I'm kind of a big fan of close-ups and detail shots!
The bridal table had it's own cake, which, not only was it an awesome idea, it was also gorgeous.
There was a bit of down time once we finished the portraits at the church, and I found Paul and Amanda engaged in deep conversations with Amanda's grandparents. I almost feel bad snapping
pictures, but I'm glad I did!
If you've been following my blog for awhile, you might know that I adore kids. If you haven't, now you know. Or at least by the end of this post you will...
Thanks again Paul and Amanda for letting me be a part of your day!
And again, Larissa, huge thanks to you for letting me do this with you!
