The voice behind the blog, and the face behind the camera. If you've been following along for awhile, you might already know a few things about me. Like the fact that I absolutely adore kids and that I'm in love with the night sky. Or that I have a large family that I don't know what I'd do without. You might know that I love words, and that sometimes I ramble just a little too much. You might know that I'm a fourth year student at Michigan Tech, but unlike most of my fellow Techies who study engineering, I'm majoring in Psychology. And you might know that I love Love, and that capturing the love that surrounds my clients is one of my all time favorite things to do. And, if you didn't know all of that before, now you do!
is my photo diary of sorts. It's where I post my pictures and rambles. It's my hobby, and it's my side job. My love for photography started out as a way to get through the hard times, as I found it so much easier to see the beauty in life if I was focusing on it through a camera lens. And now, so many years since I first started snapping photos, I still find myself searching for that constant, everyday beauty, whether I have my camera in hand or not. And that everyday beauty is kind of where I got my photography name from. Novalee is a Native American name, meaning dances with butterflies, and that's what I want to capture in my photos. The real and the candid moments. The beauty that is people living life and loving each other. Because, after all, it's Life that is the real art.
